For love or for money?
If you teach economics (for love or for money), you quickly find out that the thought of cooperation via exchange goes down better with some than with others. It seems that some are able to grow up but still hang on to a suspicion of any exchange that is not based on love. Hence, they are baffled by much of the real world - including the market economy.
